Abu Dhabi, 21 November 2025: In a scene reflecting Abu Dhabi’s commitment to strengthening its position as a global maritime destination, the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club is participating in the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, organised by ADNEC Group at the Marina Hall, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The club’s presence comes through a distinctive stand that embodies its strategic vision of blending national identity with sporting innovation, showcasing its most prominent events and programmes—from Formula 1 and jet ski races to the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Academy’s initiatives targeting youth and families.
Khalid Al Saad, Director of the Club’s Communications Office, affirmed that this participation stems from a strategic approach to support the marine sports ecosystem and enhance Abu Dhabi’s status as a leading destination in this vital sector. He praised the significant support of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, who continues to oversee efforts to develop marine sports in the emirate. He added that the stand highlights annual championships such as the Abu Dhabi Kingfish Grand Prix and the historic Dalma Historical Race Festival, alongside training programmes like Little Nukhudha and Nukhudha Abu Dhabi, which help hone young people’s sailing skills.
In a related context, the Captain’s Club on of the largest boat club in the UAE and one of the most prominent names in leisure boating returns as the Diamond Sponsor of the show, a role it has maintained since the event’s inception. This ongoing presence reflects the club’s vision to support maritime innovation and facilitate the boating experience through a flexible membership model that gives members access to a diverse fleet of boats without the burdens of ownership or maintenance.
This year, the club is undergoing strategic expansion into Bahrain and Jeddah, completing its presence across the GCC countries, with a strong footprint at around 20 locations in more than eight cities and a fleet exceeding 200 boats across seven different categories. This reflects its vision to make boating easier and more enjoyable across the region.
Bashar Mihyar, Captains Club Director of Marketing, said: “Our Diamond sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show reflects our solid partnership with the Abu Dhabi boating community. With our expansion into Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, we have completed a key phase in our regional strategy, offering our unique model to more sea enthusiasts seeking the freedom of boating.”
During the show, the club offers a fully interactive experience, allowing visitors to get up close with its growing fleet, explore membership benefits, and discover the various types of boats, from speedboats and water sports vessels to fishing and family cruising boats.
