12 September 2025 - We mark World Law Day in recognition of the pivotal role law plays as the definitive reference for resolving disputes, upholding justice and fairness, and regulating relationships at the individual, institutional, and community levels. This occasion underscores the significance of law as a cornerstone of economic and social development strategies, as well as a decisive factor in strengthening nations’ leadership, enhancing their competitiveness, and boosting their ability to attract business and investment.
Since the establishment of the Union, the United Arab Emirates has steadfastly upheld the rule of law as a fundamental pillar of its development journey. The nation has continuously advanced legislative frameworks characterised by flexibility, proactivity, and inclusiveness; frameworks that foster innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, support a diversified and sustainable economy, and contribute to bolstering the UAE’s prestigious global standing.
On World Law Day, the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai extends its sincere appreciation to all members of the legal, justice, and legislative sectors across the nation. We reaffirm our commitment to promoting legislative awareness, facilitating understanding of the objectives and intent of the UAE’s legislative instruments, and fostering a culture of compliance, thereby supporting our nation’s ongoing progress, prosperity, and sustainable development.
