Sultan Bin Tahnoon: The Memory of our Heroic Martyrs will remain in Our Hearts and Minds Forever

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 30 November 2022: In a speech honouring Commemoration Day, His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Frontline Heroes Office, paid tribute to the nation’s heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the UAE, saying they will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
His Excellency expressed his sincere gratitude to those who, over the years, played such important roles in enabling the UAE to achieve the progress it enjoys today. He said, “Today, and every day, we remember in reverence our fallen heroes for their courage, their dignity and what they sacrificed in order to keep the UAE flag flying high and preserve our nation’s security and safety."
His Excellency said that the nation's fallen heroes have become a beacon that will guide future generations and remain a source of inspiration and national pride. He said, “Commemoration Day offers us all the opportunity to pay tribute to those fallen heroes who have given their lives for the betterment and protection of our country and the people they serve.”
His Excellency added, “Today is a day for deep reflection and to offer our thanks to all those who dedicate their lives and selflessly put themselves at risk for the people of the UAE.”
At the end of his speech, His Excellency said that the UAE’s fallen heroes and frontline heroes are responsible for preserving the nation’s journey of progress, and it is the duty of everyone to honour their sacrifice and their contribution by continuing this journey.
