The UN Refugee Agency and Humanagement Sign a Cooperation Agreement!

UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency and Humanagement  Agency, signed a cooperation agreement to support refugees and the global organization’s mission in providing much needed aid and highlighting the many ongoing crises and emergencies, through future joint projects and activations.  

The agreement was signed by Mr. Houssam Chahine, Chief of Private Sector Partnerships in the Middle East and North Africa at UNHCR, and Mr. Hady Hajjar, Co-founder of Humanagement, at the company's offices in Dubai.

The agreement aims to provide free of charge advertising and PR services to support UNHCR’s campaigns, in cooperation with celebrities and influential public figures managed by Humanagement.

This joint venture also seeks to expand the reach of UNHCR’s content on social media and to create opportunities for the organization to participate in events and seminars that will highlight UNHCR’s work especially in a time when a record number of people have been forced to flee their homes and countries due to violence, human rights violations, climate change disasters, or war, leaving 100 million displaced people in need of aid and support. 

Mr. Houssam Chahine thanked Humanagement for their continuous support of UNHCR's humanitarian campaigns, and said:" We are proud of our partnership with Humanagement, and look forward to the positive impact that we will create together through this cooperation; this collaboration will enhance our efforts towards protecting and serving refugees around the world”.

On another hand, Mr. Hady Hajjar also expressed his content with this partnership, which he considers at the core of Humanagement’ s mission to give back to society and help shed light and provide assistance to individuals and communities in need. Hajjar also assured that this partnership will bring Humanagement and UNHCR more success stories and joint humanitarian work.

This agreement comes as an extension to the ongoing cooperation between UNHCR and Humanagement, and a number of previous initiatives and campaigns, in which a group of influential public figures in the Arab world led by the agency had positive roles in giving refugees a much needed visibility.
