Dubai Municipality Wins Global Business Excellence Awards for Work-Life Balance Strategies

Dubai, September 01, 2022: Dubai Municipality has secured the Global Business Excellence Awards for the effective implementation of Work-Life Balance strategies, recognising its commitment to foster work-life balance by developing innovative programs, strategies, and initiatives. These strategies include creating guidelines for flexible remote working, implementing a work-life balancing policy, and providing employees opportunities to engage in international training platforms to improve their skillset, by providing training licenses.
In addition, Dubai Municipality has also launched the Community Solidarity Fund for its employees, initiatives that cater to the needs of people of determination in its departments as well as facilitated building new housing for labours, including sanitary facilities, recreational venues, employees’ gym, and nurseries for children of employees.
Aisha Al Hammadi, Director of Human Resources Department of Dubai Municipality, was recognised with the ‘Outstanding Leader’ award for developing an excellent HR strategy by obtaining international accreditations, including an ISO certificate for human resource management, training, and development

The municipality's achievement in this award demonstrated its efforts and commitment in providing all the elements which ensure the community’s happiness and satisfaction among society's members
