Dubai Government Workshop concludes practical training program for students

United Arab Emirates, Dubai - 23 August 2022 - The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) concluded its practical training program for engineering students designed to help them gain practical experience and technical knowledge of the various engineering systems of advanced vehicles and the mechanisms for maintaining such systems. This program was aimed at helping university students develop skills in vehicle maintenance and repairs.

The program is aligned with DGW’s endeavors to foster continuous improvement and the adoption of cutting-edge processes and techniques, as well as to empower and enhance human resources and equip them with skills and knowledge. This move is also aimed at supporting the young generation and the students by promoting their career paths and enabling them to meet the requirements of the labour market in line with DGW’s vision to enhance the work ecosystem and build a new generation of multiskilled workforce.

Mr. Aqeel Mustafa Al Janahi, Director of the Engineering Maintenance Department, said: “The training program reflects DGW’s commitment to enhancing students' engineering skills, technical knowledge and providing them with the tools to further their career options in the fields of fleet management, vehicle maintenance and repair.
