Dr Sunipa Neogi, IBDP Coordinator, GEMS Modern Academy: “Modern’s seventh set of IB Diploma Programme results is outstanding. Of the 87 candidates registered for the May 2022 session, 77 are Diploma candidates and 10 are Course candidates. The average overall point score obtained by Diploma candidates was 36.1 points. In addition, 25% of our candidates achieved 40 points or higher, 50% achieved 35 points or higher and 93.5% achieved 30 points or higher. Our topper is Kushal Sodum, who secured 45 out of a maximum of 45 points.

 Kushal Sodum, student at GEMS Modern Academy, achieved an IBDP score of 45 out of 45, heading to University of Michigan in the US to study Mechanical Engineering: “It feels crazy. I never expected this in my wildest dreams. You can’t expect something like this, you can only hope for it. University is a big step and change of pace. I’m excited and a little bit nervous, being so far from home, but it’s going to be a good challenge. I joined GEMS Modern Academy in second grade and it’s like a second home, so it’s going to be hard leaving, but that’s life!”
