CH Carolina Herrera will Support Autism Causes in 2022, in Honour of CH Hope

In support of CH Hope, CH Carolina Herrera will support Autism awareness causes in 2022, kicking off with a Mother’s Day celebration focused around raising awareness and donating to local causes across the region, followed by a volunteer opportunity in honor of World Autism Day on April 2nd, 2022.

In support of CH Carolina Herrera’s CH Hope program, a global initiative to support and better communities regionally and globally, CH Hope will regionally raise awareness for autism spectrum disorder. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) continues to increase in global prevalence in recent decades with increasing affects in the Middle East. According to the World Population Review, the top five countries with the highest rates of autism include Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

For this initiative, CH Carolina Herrera will partner with a variety of awareness and education-based organizations across the GCC, with goals of creating meaningful conversation, understanding and support for the community of parents, educators, and children.

In 2022, CH Carolina Herrera celebrated Mother’s Day in Riyadh and Dubai, hosting an intimate picnic with influential women and friends of the brand, along with their little ones, for an afternoon of celebration and awareness. Each of these picnics will welcome a representative from a notable and pioneering Autism organization in the city.

In Dubai, CH Carolina Herrera partnered with Rana Akkad Atassi, founder of Jads Inclusion, a non-profit special education centre structured as a school for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties or delays aged between 4 – 16 years old.

In Riyadh, CH Carolina Herrera has partnered with Maalim Al-Ibrahim, a local mother whose son is a student in Riyadh’s Ehtiwa Medical Centre, a resource rehabilitative and supportive services and academic support.

In support of World Autism Day on April 2nd, 2022, CH Carolina Herrera local teams, friends and representatives of the brand, will local education facilities such as Jads Inclusion to meet the children alongside donating to local autism awareness causes through the duration of 2022 in support of the CH Hope program.

The CH Hope program also encompasses CH Heart for Hope, launched in 2020, an initiative born in response to the global pandemic. During this time, CH Carolina Herrera globally
 

donated 10% of handbag and accessories sales to Red Cross and Red Crescent and created and distributed medical gowns. CH Hope also represents the ongoing CH Pink program, an effort to build awareness and support for the fight against breast cancer, both globally and regionally.
