Dubai Municipality Enhances its Preparation to Secure New Year 's Eve Celebrations

Achieving the strategic objective to ensure health and safety of Dubai’s society
December 30, 2021: Dubai Municipality has prepared a comprehensive plan to secure the New Year’s Eve celebrations in different celebration sites, in coordination with different government entities in the emirate. This is part of the municipality’s commitment to achieve the strategic objectives of ensuring health and safety of the community members, due to the large attendance of these sites.
Supervisory specialists from different departments in the municipality will be provided to carryout intensive inspection campaigns; 102 inspectors inside the celebration sites to ensure that instantiations adhere to health and safety requirements, such as shopping centers, food establishments, hotels, parks and beaches.
The plan also includes more than a 100 inspectors and observers outside the celebration sites and areas close to those sites, smart platforms of Dubai Municipality will be used for the monitoring processes, focusing on the sites located to the celebration areas.
The monitoring process will be carried out through four main programs such as, investigation around 24/7 shift, monitoring of locations and institutions to conduct field evaluation prior and post the celebration in the New Year. Referring to the circulars and awareness raising instructions on precautionary measures to the owners and developers of the intuitions and immediate response of any received complaints.
