Professor Waqar Ahmad, Chancellor of ADU and Khaled Seddiqi, Chairman of ATOMENA signed the MoU in the presence of Mohamed Alowais, Vice Chairman, Ali Geedi, Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Ghazi, Chief Operating Officer and Khalid Al-Khaja, Director of Nationalization at ATOMENA. Along with, ADU faculty members from the College of Health Sciences (COHS), including Dr. Nisreen Hassan Alwan, Acting Dean, Dr. Deena Elsori, Dean of Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Cell Biology, and Dr. Rahaf Ajaj Assistant Professor of Environmental Health and Safety.

The MoU will see both parties deliver and develop practical training and courses in the field of nuclear energy. This joint partnership will facilitate ADU to host events and competitions to present educational programs oriented around nuclear energy and solutions while allowing ATOMENA to expand the framework of their research accordingly. This collaboration with ADU will serve as the foundation of the development of Human Capital (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel – SQEP) thus ensuring a self-sustaining, self-reliant Nuclear sector for generations to come.”
