Dubai, UAE, 14th June 2021: Ariel Middle East – one of the world’s most recognisable laundry brands – is collaborating with the city’s leading wellbeing and creative partners to host Mind, Pody & Soul, a free of charge holistic experience starting from Wednesday 16th June 2021 to Saturday 19th June 2021 at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai.
The experience is inspired by Ariel PODS – an innovative laundry form designed to deliver three superior benefits: brightening colors, lifting stains, and cleaning, to ultimately bring ease to your everyday laundry experience. Reflecting on the three distinctly colored chambers within each Ariel pod, the four-day event, following strict social distancing measures, celebrates these superior benefits through three color-coded activity zones designed to Enlighten, Uplift and Transform your inner self.
In the blue boosting zone, you can brighten your mood and your mind with enlightening yoga classes hosted by Shimis Yoga Center. Through two different types of yoga classes, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, the expert instructors will help restore your body and mind, taking not just your physical but also mental well-being in mind.
The Yin Yoga class is a slow-paced practice, which involves holding a variety of poses for 3-5 minutes to access deeper layers of muscle tissue. The Vinyasa Flow class is a bright and energetic, focused on balancing pace and intensity in flowing sequences that exercise the entire body. Both classes are suitable for all levels.
In the bright white zone, you can join two uplifting art classes run by the creative experts at thejamjar. The Abstract Art class teaches basic principles so you can let go and focus on expression through the medium of art. The Scraping class will teach you to create dynamic scenes using special techniques and tools. thejamjar arts studio aims to engage audiences, promote local artists and support the development of Dubai's art scene through its extensive art programmes, educational initiatives and community projects.
The green & clean zone encourages people to transform their wardrobe with the sustainable fashion experts at FAD. FAD Institute of Luxury, Fashion & Style offers industry tutored and integrated courses across fashion design, styling, luxury brand management, fashion retail, fashion buying, photography and other industry relevant courses approved by KHDA. The fashion school also advocates and educates in the field of sustainable fashion.
FAD will offer two different upcycling workshops to turn a sustainably sourced scarf into a personalised fashion accessory using non-toxic dyes combined with various sustainable printing techniques. Alternatively, you can bring in two old garments and learn to combine them to create a new, statement piece using sewing techniques.
The FREE Mind, Pody & Soul experience hosted at Warehouse 46 in Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz 1, Dubai will follow strict health and safety measures in line with government regulations.
