#pinktober: The Ritz-carlton, Dubai Raises Funds and Awareness for Breast Cancer This October

The JBR resort has curated a special pink edition of the award-winning London Social Brunch, a pink Afternoon Tea and Rose Awakening Spa Ritual with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation
Dubai, UAE, 27 September 2020 – The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai is proud to be supporting Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with the launch of #PINKtober. Taking place at the JBR hotel throughout October, the month-long campaign will raise funds and create awareness, whilst celebrating survivors and those currently battling the illness.
Ladies and Gentlemen can partake in a range of #PINKtober activities for a good cause, such as a decadent Afternoon Tea in the prestigious Lobby Lounge, a special pink edition of the award-winning London Social Brunch or the Rose Awakening Ritual treatment at the luxurious spa.
LONDON SOCIAL GOES PINK!
‘The Big Smoke’ is undeniably one of the main foodie capitals of the world, but why travel to London when you can enjoy an iconic experience at London Social with a buzzing Friday Brunch? On 23 October 2020 enjoy a special pink edition of London Social whereby AED 50 from every brunch purchased will be donated to Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation.
The coming together of the legendary red telephone box, vibe-setting live music, eclectic mix of signature beverages and British classics is what you’ll find at Dubai’s Brunch of the Year!
Prepare to go on a pink dining spree and explore the spices of Brixton and the fusion delights of Soho to the vibrant stalls of Little Italy, Chinatown and Borough Market.
Date: One-off exclusive event on Friday 23 October 2020
Time: 1 pm to 4 pm
Prices: Enjoy a combination of family style, table plated and live stations where AED 50 per person will be donated to Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation.
Jubilee – AED 395 per person inclusive of non-alcoholic shandies, mocktails, juices and soft drinks.
Victoria – AED 495 per person inclusive of signature summer cups, distinct selection of mixed house beverages, craft hops, grape, spirits and sparkling grape.
Piccadilly – AED 650 per person inclusive of signature summer cups, distinct selection of mixed house beverages, craft hops, spirits, grape and premium sparkling.
Children below five years of age dine with our compliments, while six to 12 year olds dine at 50%.
THE ROSE AWAKENING RITUAL
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Dubai is a sanctuary infused with Arabesque detailing throughout, and is a careful blend of Eastern traditions, with European and Asian techniques. This October, the spa will be raising money for Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation by donating 10% for every Rose Awakening Ritual. This exclusive, specially crafted ritual incorporates rose geranium infused products and the soothing and healing properties of rose quartz crystal to create an undeniably unique experience.
The journey starts with a soothing, rose petal foot bath, followed by a gentle back exfoliation designed to leave your skin beautifully soft and deeply moisturized. Unwind with a firm back massage incorporating Ritz-Carlton’s exclusive Signature Relax and Sooth Oil to melt away any tension held in the upper body. The Rose Awakening Ritual is completed with a restoring and clarifying facial that instantly uplifts and firms the skin, giving you a healthy glow as heated rose quartz crystals are lightly massaged across the face to stimulate detoxification.

Time: Daily from 10 am to 7 pm
Price: AED 700 per person for a 75-minute ritual including rose footbath, back exfoliation, back massage and facial. 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation.
*Please note that spa facilities are unavailable right now in line with authority directive: steam-rooms, plunge pools, outdoor pool and shared relaxation lounge all remain closed for now. Only guests with treatment-bookings can currently access the spa.
PINK AFTERNOON TEA IN THE LOBBY LOUNGE
Relax in the luxurious surroundings over a quintessential Afternoon Tea experience at The Lobby Lounge, with a pink twist during the month of October in an effort to raise awareness. Dine in grandeur indoors under the sparkling chandeliers for a classic ambience or savor an al fresco afternoon on the terrace overlooking the luscious resort gardens. Treat yourselves to a pink themed elegant afternoon tea featuring traditional and raspberry scones with accompaniments, a selection of elegant sandwiches, complemented with a sweet assortment of truffles, macaroons and cakes, for the perfect ending to a refined affair.

The Traditional Pink Treat - AED 195 per person - delectable assortment of savories and pastry delicacies, freshly baked scones, served with homemade preserves and Devonshire clotted cream, coupled with JING loose-leaf tea or specialty hot beverage.
The Royal Pink Treat - AED 305 per person - indulge in “The Traditional Treat”, enhanced with a glass of bubby and JING loose-leaf tea or specialty hot beverage.
