Tyler Ellis Announces First Regional Collaboration With Emirati Designer Hamda Al Fahim

United Arab Emirates, August 19, 2020:   Tyler Ellis, the luxury handbag designer has joined forces with UAE based bespoke couturier, Hamda Al Fahim to create a “Limited Edition” capsule collection. The combination of Tyler’s eye-catching, yet classic silhouettes and Hamda’s elegant, hand-embroidered materials, come together to create unique handmade jewels, that are the perfect designs for the international woman. 

Hamda’s ideas for eveningwear are as varied as the material for creating the final masterpiece. From using the richness of organza to capturing the sensuality of lace, from intricate embroidery to handcrafted sequin work, she pays immense attention to detail at every step of the creative process.

Tyler is the daughter of the iconic American fashion designer Perry Ellis.  Her seasonless designs are brought to life by multi-generational artisans in Le Sieci, Italy and balance luxury and function with a timeless elegance. Tyler represents an impassioned commitment to couture and the highest quality craftsmanship garnering the brand a global following. As a result, Tyler’s handbags have become a mainstay on Hollywood’s international red carpets.

Announcing the collaboration on the special occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, Tyler Ellis said, “I am extremely excited to announce my partnership with Hamda Al Fahim.  We chose to reveal on Emirati Women’s Day to pay tribute not only to Hamda’s Emirati heritage but also to celebrate two women from different cultures joining forces to create unique works of art. We are entrepreneurial designers of the same age, brought up on the opposite sides of the world, Hamda in Abu Dhabi and me in Los Angeles, who built independent, female owned brands, focusing on craftsmanship, true luxury and timeless designs.  It’s an honor to work with such an incredibly talented visionary.”

The capsule collection is set to launch later this year and will comprise of select silhouettes from the Tyler Ellis handbag line. Bags can be further customized at Hamda’s atelier based on the client’s preference and requirements. Customers will be able to browse through the swatch books and choose from different materials, patterns, colours and designs. The bespoke bags will be handmade and delivered within four to six weeks after placing the order.
