Dabur Ensures Safety with Hand Sanitizers and Personal Protection Kits as UAE Establishments Reopen

Dubai, UAE: June 18, 2020: As UAE businesses and public sector gear up for a careful transition to normal working life, the general rule of thumb is to ensure hand hygiene to protect everyone from COVID-19. Foreseeing a significant need for hand sanitizers in the re-opened B2B and public sectors, Dabur International, a market leader in personal and health care products, has introduced sanitizers in packs of 5 and 25 liters that can be used to refill dispensers mounted on walls and entrances to buildings. Under their skin care brand, DermoViva, Dabur plans to introduce personal germ-protection kits that come with a bottle of hand sanitizer, a pair of gloves, anti-bacterial wipes and facemasks— the four most crucial items one needs to keep the virus at bay.
According Vineet Jain, Head of Marketing, Dabur International: “Ensuring the safety of employees and visitors is the main concern of organizations as they re-open fully. We are directly partnering with our distributors and organizations to provide employees with customised ‘Special Personal Protection’ kits to fight infections. Dermoviva hand sanitisers are compliant with WHO standards as tested in Dubai central labs and, kills 99.9% germs. The sanitizers are non-sticky, quick-absorbing and enriched with natural ingredients like olive and aloe vera and, available in different fragrances.”
With more than 135 years of experience in personal care and health care products, Dabur has accelerated the process of manufacturing hand sanitizers to meet increasing demand. All sanitizers are manufactured in Dabur’s sprawling 84,000-square-meter factory in Ras Al Khaimah. It is Dabur’s largest manufacturing plant in the region, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and machines to produce more than 160 million units of personal healthcare products annually.
