GEL-NIMBUS 22 (Price 835 AED):
ASICS launches the 22nd iteration of its top-of-the-range, neutral long-distance running shoe, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 22. A trusted training partner for runners’ all of abilities for over 20 years, the shoe incorporates human-centric science and advanced technology to provide long-distance runners with superior cushioning for the most comfortable ride in the series to date.
Designed for neutral runners, the shoe features ASICS’ advanced cushioning technologies – FLYTEFOAM™ Propel and FLYTEFOAM™ – resulting in a lighter, spring like feel.
Named after the Latin term for the Nimbus cloud formation, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 22 has become synonymous for comfort, with each new release featuring new and improved technology to increase the benefits for runners. As the 22nd iteration, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 22 shoe is incorporating a variety of new features including; improved cushioning, increased breathablity and enhanced fit.
GEL NOOSA TRI 12 (Price 625 AED):
This shoe is the perfect choice for fast-paced training and racing and has been especially designed for triathletes. The sole is now made from FLYTEFOAM™ midsole technology, offering a cushioned yet lightweight ride. With its pull tabs on the heel and tongue, this running shoe has been made even easier to pull on and off quickly and efficiently.
ASICS CATERPY™ elastic laces are included in each box, giving athletes a no-tie option.
Not only are the designs popular among the professional runners, they are increasingly popular in the fashionable streetstyle scene too, with their midsole foam in bright and stylish colours and unique and fun designs.
RETRO TOKYO (Prices start from 625 AED):
Celebrating the brand and its Japanese heritage, ASICS’ Tokyo inspired collection of premium footwear and apparel is built to meet the needs of the best athletes in the world as they pursue their individual roads to Tokyo.
Overall design of the collection is inspired by Japanese culture, heritage and craftsmanship. This influence is evident through the usage of breathable panels and tonal shading mimicking origami design, which is symbolic of the detail and discipline found in Japanese craftsmanship.
The Retro Tokyo range pays homage to ASICS’ heritage whilst the Modern Tokyo range focuses on the innovation and technology of ASICS in modern athletic apparel and footwear.
ASICS, in partnership with Sun & Sand Sports, have also recently launched their exciting new, first of its kind running challenge, aimed to celebrate all runners in the UAE, no matter their fitness level or distance achieved. The challenge uses the simple mechanism of ‘points mean prizes’ to help motivate runners throughout the five month challenge.
