August 29, 2019: The main and backup crews for the 25th September mission to ISS have started today their exams in Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in Star City. The main crew comprised Hazzaa AlMansoori, Oleg Skripochka, and Jessica Meir, did today their Complex Exam which includes Simulation of the Russian segment in ISS, the Functional Cargo Block (FGB) mock up, and Data management system. The crew is expected to continue examination tomorrow on the Soyuz Complex simulation.
While the backup crew, Sultan AlNeyadi, Sergey Ryzhikov, and Thomas Marshburn underwent today the Soyuz Complex Exam Simulation which lasts over 6 hours and is a culmination of many months of training on the spacecraft that will be launching to ISS on the 25th September.
