Dubai, 26 November, 2018:   ShoppRe, is an online International shipping and package consolidation company, based in Bangalore, which gives people living outside India access to 1000s of Indian Shopping Sites like Flipkart, Myntra, Amazon, etc.

The brand ambassadors, Ms. Priya Mani Raj, National Award-winning Actress and her husband, Mr. Mustufa Raj, a prominent Indian businessman -  kick-started the Official Launch held in Flora Inn, Dubai, by releasing the new ad campaign. 

“I do a lot of online shopping myself. I can totally relate to people who have just shifted abroad, especially the youngsters, who badly miss shopping from India. ShoppRe offers to deliver your favorite Indian goods right to your doorsteps!” said Priya Mani.

The website was launched by Mr. V.A. Hassan - CEO & Chairman of Flora Group of Hotels and SBK Real Estate, Dubai - the major investor of the company. 

“I have been in Dubai with my family for over 40 years, and have travelled around the world; one thing is for sure - there is a huge demand for Indian products. Indian fashion, food, yoga, ayurveda etc. are popular everywhere, but not easily accessible or are extremely overpriced.” said Mr. Hassan.

ShoppRe was founded in October 2016 by Ms. Saira Hassan & Ms. Nikkitha Shanker as a virtual Indian Shipping Address provider, enabling Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to shop from India, and has fulfilled orders worth INR 20 Million, in categories including ethnic wear, jewelry, footwear, handicrafts, cosmetics, electronics, car accessories, etc. Its expertise in customs & regulations, renders access to even special items such as Ayurvedic Products.

Since they’ve started this venture, they have received phenomenal responses from all over, including the Middle East, and that led to the official launch being held in Dubai - the land of dreams. In fact, there are over 2 million Indian immigrants in UAE and they constitute the largest part of its population. 

‘Make-in-India’ is a notable movement that has the potential to make India a global manufacturing hub. ShoppRe ‘connects’ India's vibrant products - from big & small scale businesses to the large, untapped markets around the world. “Nikkitha, and I, have always been very Indian at heart, despite growing up here in Dubai. So this idea of being able to shop from India and getting it delivered here, came very natural to two women like us. We wanted to resolve the two major pain points: Firstly, most of the indian sellers don’t offer international shipping and secondly, several Indian websites do not accept International Credit Card payments”, said Saira Hassan.

“We have served 10,000+ customers registered on our platform with 2000+ brands, and has shipped to 50+ countries. Around 10% of our clientele consists of the Arabs, Japanese, Chinese, Americans, Moroccans and  the Spanish who actively shop Indian brands”, said Nikkitha Shanker.
