Consulate General of India Mr. Vipul came as CHIEF GUEST at the blood donation camp organized by Indian community during Ramadan

Dubai, UAE, June 9, 2018: Indian Community (Sarbat Da Bhalla , Sewa, Baba Jujhar Singh ,Dastar Laher and Awaaz Welfare Society Dubai) & Indian Club in U.A.E organized Blood Donation Camps in association with DHA Dubai at 2 locations wherein Mr. Vipul , Consulate General of India was the Chief Guest and also participated as a donor. It was huge success like every year as many as over 300 people participated and donated blood at Latifa Hospital.
SEWA team organizes these camps every year to contribute back to society during Holy month of Ramadan through philanthropic deeds and addresses the shortfall of blood in local blood banks.
Mr. Davinder Singh from SEWA said “We are doing this from last 8 years and organized some 44 to 45 camps so far. It’s been a success each and every time as it gives people a platform to give back to society and do something for needy”.
With this Blood donation camps we help the children who are suffering from thalassemia. SEWA stands for social and environmental welfare association wherein we do many social services to help the needy.
Every person can donate blood three to four times in a year and there is no problem in giving blood. Our vision is to advise the youth to participate in blood donation camps and bring awareness on the advantages of blood donation. God has given an opportunity to save lives by donating blood.
SEWA team also distributed water, juice , snacks and dinner to people who were donating blood.
