Last Update: Saturday, June 9, 2018 : 09:33 (+4GMT)
Dubai, UAE, June 9, 2018: To celebrate the 31st anniversary of the Kitzbuhel Alpenrallye, the most renowned event for classic cars in the Austrian Alps, Chronoswiss has issued an exclusive limited edition of the Flying Regulator Night and Day Kitzbuhel Edition, that is limited to just 13 timepieces worldwide.
The commemorative release of the Kitzbuhel Edition continues Chronoswiss' long association with traditional and mechanical watches and their emphasis on supporting traditional events such as the Kitzbühel Alpenrallye. Just like the Alpenrallye, the history of Chronoswiss goes back 30 years, with Chronoswiss being a prime sponsor and timing partner for the event over the last three years.
Chronoswiss is one of the few brands that has traditionally used exclusively mechanical movements in its watches from the very beginning. Especially for the Alpenrallye, Chronoswiss has designed the Flying Regulator Night and Day Kitzbühel Edition, to the highest quality standards, making it a true collector's piece.
The Kitzbuhel Edition comes with a stainless steel case and a two-layered dial in vivid British racing green at the bottom, complete with a 3-D day/night display and skeletonized small seconds dial with crest of Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye. The dial's upper level is in galvanic black, featuring funnel-like constructions for the hours and seconds display. This exclusive timepiece also comes with a skeletonized, rhodium-plated rotor with ball bearing and Côtes de Genève; polished pallet lever, escape wheel and screws as well as bridges and plates with perlage. The elegant sporty look is completed by the hand-sewn leather rally strap set off with green stitching.
