“The Night of Italian Design” at D3 Attracts Design Enthusiasts

Dubai, UAE; March 8, 2018:  Dubai joined over 100 cities around the world in celebrating The Italian Design Day. 

On March 6th hundreds of design enthusiasts gathered in d3 and took part in “The Night of Italian Design” organized by the Embassy of Italy to the UAE, the Consulate General of Italy in Dubai and the Italian Trade Agency in collaboration with Dubai Design District.

22 showrooms in d3 representing over 100 iconic Italian brands remained open to public till late and there were also additional eight brands showcasing their talent. An inspiring speech on design and sustainability was delivered by internationally renowned architect and designer Fabio Novembre. DJ Papa from Buddha Bar Monte Carlo was specially flown in for the occasion. 

The event in Dubai is part of “The Italian Design Day”, a global initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Triennale di Milano, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and other partners.
