Ali Sajwani Recognised as Future Leader at Business Awards Honouring Region's Top Achievers

Son of DAMAC Chairman and Founder named “Future Star” for entrepreneurial spirit and potential in industry
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 15 November 2017: Ali Sajwani, son of DAMAC’s Founder and Chairman, Hussain Sajwani, was recognised as one of Middle East’s “Future Stars” at a red carpet awards ceremony, held last night in Dubai that was attended by VIPs, business leaders from the region, and lifetime achievers from various industries.
Organised by Arabian Business, the Arabian Business Achievement Awards 2017 honoured business leaders who made significant contributions to the region over the last 30 years. At the event, Arabian Business also paid tribute to only nine young and talented individuals demonstrating enormous potential as future leaders in their respective areas and industries.
Ali Sajwani, General Manager-Operations, DAMAC Group, was recognised for his entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional learning of all critical aspects of the businesses under the DAMAC Group. He shared the stage with bright people from various fields of technology, government, industry, sciences, philanthropy and IT.
Commenting on the accolade as a future leader, Ali Sajwani said: “I am truly honoured to receive this recognition as a future leader in the world of business. With this award, comes a lot of responsibility towards the business and the industry as well. I look forward to making a positive impact and contributing to the business community and overall success story of the region in the years to come.”
Ali Sajwani is a graduate of North Eastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he majored in Economics. He is currently pursuing his Level 3 CFA certification while overseeing day-to-day operations at global property developer, DAMAC Properties. He has been deeply involved in the family business from a young age and currently leads a number of internal working groups at DAMAC which oversee international developments, DAMAC Maison Hotels & Resorts, as well as Quality Audit and Quality Control.
