Extensive distribution network sees premium automotive parts brand gain market share in the UAE and MENA region
Dubai, UAE, August 1, 2017: Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul LLC, has strengthened its strategic partnership with regional distributor Rolman World to advance its premium automotive parts in the Middle Eastern market.
The deepening partnership is boosting growth for Federal-Mogul Motorparts products in a market that traditionally favors incumbent brands and rewards an extensive local presence.
“Federal-Mogul Motorparts is making inroads in MENA markets by partnering with a widening distributor network, and creating outreach via trade platforms. We have a strong association with Rolman World, a brand that is leveraging its market relationships to supply the region with high-quality Federal-Mogul Motorparts aftermarket parts,” said Tim Paustian, Regional Sales Director for MENA, Federal-Mogul Motorparts.
The UAE automotive aftermarket is driven by the need to maintain 2 million vehicles on the road, and also serves export customers across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Saudi Arabia’s aftermarket is spurred by the 7 million plus vehicles on the country’s roads. While a relatively smaller market with fewer than 1 million vehicles, Lebanon’s importance is enhanced by its status as re-export hub.
Rolman World is expanding its lineup of Federal-Mogul Motorparts premium automotive products. The distribution partnership started with the Champion range of spark plugs and is now expanding to encompass the full range of Champion products.
Rolman World is in the process of launching the Federal-Mogul Motorparts line of Ferodo braking products as well as the Moog, Jurid and Beral lines. The launches are being bolstered by active participation in regional trade events and exhibitions.
“Federal-Mogul Motorparts is showcasing its product lines at regional trade shows. For instance, we participated at Automechanika Dubai, the largest international trade show in the Middle East, via distributor brands including Rolman World. Platforms such as these help us improve helped us improve brand equity and recognition in the GCC market while making exciting new connections,” added Paustian.
