General Department of Organizations Protective Security and Emergency (OPSE) Awards Reed Exhibitions for Success of ME3S

Dubai-UAE: 03 June, 2017 – The General Department of Organizations Protective Security and Emergency (OPSE) – Events Security Committee (ESC), represented by Brigadier Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the General Department of OPSE at Dubai Police and Chairman of ESC, has awarded Reed Exhibitions Middle East with an appreciation plaque in recognition of the success of the Major Events Safety & Security Summit (ME3S 2017).
Brigadier Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, met with a delegation from Reed Exhibitions, led by Ara Fernezian, Managing Director, Reed Exhibitions Middle East, to mutually award the successes from ME3S 2017 and discuss opportunities for extending the collaboration between the two parties during the eighth International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018) and Dubai’s Airport Show 2018.
He stressed the significance of collaboration with security forces, venue representatives, major event organisers and solution providers in living up to the UAE’s efforts of becoming the world’s most preferred event destination.
For her part, Meline Eolmezian-Soulie, Group Exhibition Director of the Security & Safety Portfolio at Reed Exhibitions, said: “We are proud of this recognition by Dubai Police. Their outstanding support for the Major Events Safety & Security Summit (ME3S 2017), combined with our commitment towards market driven events, enabled Reed Exhibitions to deliver a calibre-led, industry specific and expert-attended summit.”

ME3S 2017, officially supported by Dubai Police and organised by Reed Exhibitions in collaboration with Major Events International (MEI) ran from 25 to 27 April 2017 and hosted over 200 top regional buyers and end users, international experts and leading solutions providers across the events safety and security industry under one roof. The “community” event provided exclusive business opportunities and empowered participants to identify potential partners through tailored matchmaking.
The success of ME3S will significantly impact ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018, as this event launches next year with a new show identity and enhanced value for all clients involved in the dedicated business networking platform. ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018 will cover all homeland security solutions and sectors within new featured events, pavilions and forums, which will include critical infrastructure protection, border control, future of policing, counter terrorism, disaster management, ICT & digital security, crime & offender management and of course, safety and security at major events and high-density and crowded places.
ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018, organised by the UAE Ministry of Interior (MOI) and Reed Exhibitions, will run from 6 to 8 March 2018 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), hosting 600 exhibiting companies from 55 countries, with 23,000 local and international visitors and over 200 government buyers and delegation members. ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018 will also include co-located and featured events - Infosecurity Middle East 2018 and Emergency Response and Disaster Prevention (EmDI).
