Abu Dhabi, 18 April 2017 - His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, visited Tadweer (The Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi), where he was greeted by H.E. Eng. Saeed Al Mehairbi, General Manager of Tadweer. The visit comes in line with the Ministry's objective to contribute to creating a sustainable environment in accordance with the UAE Vision 2021.
During his visit, H.E. Dr. Al Zeyoudi toured around all departments of Tadweer and was given a clear and detailed explanation about Tadweer's projects and services, including Strategy, Public Awareness, Collection and Transportation of Waste, Public Health Pest Control, Projects, Licensing, Tariff and Customer Service and products of recycling plants.
Tadweer is the leading government entity responsible for building and implementing integrated waste management and pest control systems according to the highest standards adopted globally, through public awareness on the importance of keeping the environment safe to maintain a responsible sustainable society.
