tajawal becomes the first online travel agency across MENA to opt for convenient payment solutions

Dubai, UAE February 28, 2017: tajawal, the Dubai-based online travel startup, has collaborated with Visa Checkout to provide easy payment solutions to its customers. This move makes it the first online travel agency in the MENA region to integrate quick digital payment solutions on their portal.

We plan to expand our travel products to become the region’s one-stop shop for all online travel booking solutions, which includes making the payment experience hassle-free.”

Visa Checkout offers cardholders a simple and secure method to make digital purchases. When shopping online, registered customers can simply log in and click a button to complete their purchase. There is no need to re-enter payment and billing information, making the experience easier than the traditional online checkout process, especially on mobile devices. More than 300,000 merchants worldwide, including some of the largest global retailers, now offer the service, while 18 million Visa customers have accounts.

After celebrating their first anniversary with a successful travel promotion in January, tajawal is focusing on evolving their travel products further.
