The Buy One, Give One Initiative
Dubai, UAE, February 18, 2017: In partnership with Emirates Red Crescent, Virgin Megastore is pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of the Buy One, Give One initiative, a socially responsible project that seeks to raise awareness for the global refugee crisis. For every item purchased within the campaign, Virgin Megastore will donate a similar one to Emirates Red Crescent for distribution across their vast network of refugees to ensure the items reach those who need them most.
The collaborative project has been developed to support the growing needs of refugees around the world. A wide array clothing, shoes, children’s books and backpacks will seek to offer refugee families a little bit of relief in the toughest of times through the provision of some of life’s basic necessities.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating donations through purchases and thereby transforms these functional, everyday pieces into something bigger – a symbol of the customer’s active support to a critical cause.
The Buy One, Give One Initiative will run from March 1st until March 27th, 2017, online at virginmegastore.ae and at the Virgin Megastore Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall locations.
