A Scandinavian Winter's Tale by Swatch

Dubai, UAE, November 20, 2016: Once upon a time, in a faraway village in Northern Scandinavia: the air was freezing cold, the trees were covered in a thick
layer of fluffy white snow, and the villagers were busily making final preparations for the upcoming festivities. Cozy wooden houses were festooned with red-ribboned wreaths and a smell of homemade gingerbread cookies was in the air.
Everyone was happily bustling around. Everyone, that is, except Magnus, the postman, who was completely stressed out – he'd lost a parcel on his delivery tour. Someone would not find his gift under the candlelit tree tonight and it would all be his fault. In his despair he walked back to every house, trying to catch sight of the missing box. He remembered it well – it was a charming, light blue cardboard house with a festive white printing. In fact it almost looked like his own cottage.
Magnus fought his way through the cold snow, desperately looking everywhere for the missing gift. Frozen stiff and just about to give up, he discovered it under a huge fir tree. Overjoyed, he grabbed it and checked the address so he could deliver it, just in time for the big celebration.
To his utter astonishment, he discovered his own name on the address label. He couldn’t believe he had lost and found his own present, but he was so curious to discover what it contained that he opened it right away. Inside the special packaging was the most beautiful watch he had ever seen: the new Swatch Seasons Special, GOD JUL (SUOZ222S, limited and numbered edition of 8,888 pieces). The iridescent foil on the dial reminded him of the Northern lights he loved so much. Snowflakes were dancing around Magnus’ head and finally placed themselves on the watch glass and light blue bracelet as a beautiful white pattern. It was the perfect gift for the always-a-little-tight-on-time postman.
When he found the matching Swatch The Eyes sunglasses – THE EYES OF SANTA (SES03WPW008) – in the glittery powder snow, which would look amazing on his beloved wife, he was the happiest man on earth. Or at least in Northern Scandinavia.
