November 19, 2016– By 2020, the international smart building market will be valued at an impressive USD 36,398.7 million, a growth from USD 7,260 million in 2015, according to a recent report. Facilities management (FM) is part and parcel of the smart building market’s rapid development, which will enhance the quality of life worldwide and increasing environmental protection awareness. Particularly, the GCC’s FM sector is steadily harnessing the power of next-generation technologies to fully support the region’s ongoing smart transition initiatives.
To demonstrate the role of cutting-edge technological tools in reshaping the regional FM industry, Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, will showcase at The Big 5 in Dubai its state-of-the-art Imtedaad system. The technology designed based on the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) will be at the center of the company’s participation in the Middle East’s largest construction event. The Big 5 is slated to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 21 to 24, 2016.
To be located at Concourse 419 of the event’s venue, Imdaad’s stand will put on display Imtedaad’s advanced features as well as the system’s unique modern enhancements and improvements. Imtedaad is one of the industry’s much-talked-about technological platforms due to its ability to intelligently analyze the performance trends of interconnected assets.
It works by correlating all essential data with the behavior of the building’s eco-system to come up with a set of recommendations and corrective actions. During the show, the FM company will demonstrate the far-reaching benefits of Imtedaad’s top-notch features, namely its cognitive computing platform, predictive maintenance capability, seamless machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, automatic corrective measures, real-time monitoring and tracking of assets, and energy management.
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Through this platform, we hope to increase awareness on the impact of IoT on facilities management. The Imtedaad system perfectly demonstrates how vital interconnectedness is in monitoring and sustaining the performance of any asset at any given time. With its next-generation features, this highly valuable system delivers optimal workflow and productivity across the supply chain. We recently enhanced the system further to reflect the latest global trends in the FM market and to be of service to our clients more in line with our mission and core values.”
“At the national level, Imtedaad is a demonstration of our company’s commitment to the UAE’s and the rest of the Gulf’s smart transformation efforts. This is a reaffirmation of our relentless support to the goals and objectives of UAE Vision 2021 to turn the UAE into one of the world’s smartest and sustainable nations. We hope to highlight Imtedaad’s role in this important national building process during our participation in the four-day exhibition. Additionally, we look forward to interacting with industry leaders, pioneers, decision and policy makers, and all visitors to share with them our technology’s important role in the country’s bid to establish smart cities,” Lootah added.
Meanwhile, Imdaad will also capitalize on the popularity of The Big 5 to generate new leads, network with potential clients and industry experts, strengthen its ties with existing customers, and educate visitors and fellow exhibitors regarding Imtedaad and its benefits. Imdaad will join the more than 3,000 international exhibitors participating in this year’s edition of The Big 5, the number one choice for construction industry professionals.
