Mohamed bin Zayed stresses the importance of discipline, dedication and a responsible work ethic in ensuring ADNOC’s continued success
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 26 October, 2016: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, addressed Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)’s employees as part of an internal company forum that consisted of the Group’s senior management and young high-potential employees.
His Highness stated that through the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and with the determination and commitment of its people, the country will keep working to achieve its future vision and aspirations to further strengthen its position in various fields.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his support for the transformation the ADNOC Group is undergoing to become resilient to evolving market conditions and ensure its continued role as an important contributor to Abu Dhabi’s prosperity.
His Highness reinforced the importance of driving efficiency, performance and profitability across the Group, while highlighting the pivotal role that people play as the foundation of the organization’s success. He also stressed the need for a strong work ethic amongst employees and an unwavering focus on delivering tangible results, aimed at advancing the organization’s growth and development.
Addressing the participants of the Forum, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed highlighted the importance of bringing a culture of initiative, responsibility and commitment to the workplace - a culture that has long been the foundation of the UAE’s success.
Additionally, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed took part in the discussions around the ADNOC 2030 strategy, where he underlined the importance of all business units, including administrative and technical, in the planning of installations for oil and gas fields, or organizing refining and petrochemical industry operations.
The Leadership Forum brought together top managers and rising stars from across the ADNOC Group to learn of the organization’s key achievements arising from the company’s rigorous self-assessment that took place over the last eight months.
Employees heard from the ADNOC Group’s directors about their success in delivering substantial returns by leveraging synergies, driving efficiency and maximizing the value of the company’s resources. Employees also learned more about ADNOC’s future and how the Group aims to deliver its strategic imperatives of a more profitable upstream, a more valuable downstream, a more economic and sustainable gas supply, and attracting world class talent.
