Malabar Gold & Diamonds wins 前man's Most Trusted Brands Award in Jewellery Category

Duabi, UAE, October 25, 2016: Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ the leading jewellery retailer wonOman’s ‘Most Trusted Award’ in the jewellery categoryafter a long process of voting by the public. The award was handed over by H E Yahya al Jabri- Chairman, Capital Markets Authority, Chairman, Special Economic Zone Authority, Duqm to Mr. Abdul Salam KP- Group Executive Director, Malabar Group and Mr. Najeeb K, Regional Head, Oman- Malabar Gold & Diamonds in the presence of H.E SalehZakwani- Chairman, Apex Press & Publishing.

Apex is well-known throughout Oman and internationally for its high quality titles produced by a team of professional journalists and designers. Apex Press & Publishing acknowledges efforts taken by different brands by conducting a survey where a definitive list of brands that have established an emotional connect with customers, by winning their loyalty and trust, is formulated and presented to the public. The people then vote for brands that they prefer among all the brands listed to them.
The online voting process this year started on June 7th, 2016 and ended on July 10th, 2016 where the public had to vote for their preferred brand across ten categories namely; airlines, automotive, banks, hypermarkets, investment & finance companies, jewellery, money exchanges, private hospitals, telecom and Omani brands. During this period, a total of 189,023 votes were received out of which Malabar Gold & Diamonds received 44.6% of the total votes in the jewellery category making it the ‘Most Trusted Brand’ in the jewellery category by the public.
On this esteemed occasion, Mr. Shamlal Ahamed, Managing Director of Malabar Gold & Diamonds – International Operations said “We are honored to receive this recognition which illustrates the opinion from the general public of Oman.
