Elisa wears Gilda by Eberhard & Co. in her new video “Bruciare Per Te”

Dubai, UAE, October 10, 2016:  Gilda, the watch with the strong iconic identity from Swiss watchmakers Eberhard & Co., a perfect combination of elegance and style, was chosen by Elisa, an artist with a unique style and an unconventional, never dull look, for her new video

“Bruciare per te”(Burning for you)

 It is her third single, after the great success of “No Hero” and “Love Me Forever”, from the album “On”, the singer-songwriter’s ninth album which marks her return to writing songs in English. The album is different from the singer’s previous works as it has moved closer to electronic music and pop. The track list includes a duet with British singer Jack Savoretti and a trio with Italians Emma Marrone and Giuliano Sangiorgi (the singer from Negramaro).

“Elisa” (also known as Elisa Toffoli) was born in Trieste in 1977 and is an all-round artiste: songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. During her career, she has been involved in projects as video director, stage actress, photographer and writer. In a career spanning 19 years, her albums have reached the top ten in the Italian and international sales charts 9 times, and her singles have achieved this 16 times. In Italy she has received all the major prizes and awards on the music scene: from the Sanremo Festival to the Targa Tenco, from two Premio Lunezia awards to 14 Italian, Wind & Music Awards, from Festivalbar to Nastro d'argento, and a Premio Regia Televisiva television award. Her many other accolades include an MTV Europe Music Award and some beautiful pieces that have been part of the soundtracks of famous films.

The video was filmed in the magical Salento region, more precisely in the enchanting castle of Mesagne, near Brindisi. It stars an elegantly dressed Elisa who wanders through the rooms of the castle, with Gilda on her wrist. After the initial scenes, marked by the precious hands of the watch, memories begin to emerge in her mind, with a long flashback of her as a child grappling with a difficult father and starved of affection. Thus begins the story of a painful, complicated relationship.
