Saffron Media Works celebrates the unconquerable spirit of cancer warriors at the #FeminaME 4 Cancer initiative in Dubai

Dubai, UAE, September 22, 2016: Femina ME, one of the leading women oriented magazine in GCC region celebrates the true and indomitable spirit of women cancer survivors in the region by recognizing them at the #FeminaME 4 Cancer initiative at the Beauty Connection Spa in Dubai.
The event was attended by a number of support groups who were there to extend their sisterhood and encouragement to all the women survivors. The survivors were presented with a great and revitalizing pampering session by the Beauty Connection Spa.
Madhu Arora, Published & Managing Director, Saffron Media Works, commented on the empowering occasion saying “Femina Middle East is a magazine that is truly very close to my heart. I am a very staunch believer in the power that woman hold to bring about change and Femina Middle East is a platform for these wonderful and powerful women to showcase their marvellous fighting spirit and in turn inspire so many more women out there.”
Some of the survivors included names like Fakrhria Lutfi, Vasundhara Raghavan, Umaima Tinwala among others. The all-women event, lauds cancer warriors across age groups, nationalities and professions. The invitees were chosen from the entries we received from the overwhelming response to our call for stories of triumph, grit and gumption.
Beauty Connection Spa that has the Guinness World Record is owned by Kawthar al Shamsi, helped the Femina ME team put up a treasure hunt together that drew enthusiastic participation from cancer warriors and their supporters.
The initiative was highly supported by our Jewelry Gift partner BIORI, who were extremely delighted to be a part of this event and support the outstanding struggle of these survivors.
