Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 20, 2016: Emirates Post Group’s post offices offer customers the convenience of paying the bills of Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), a division of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), because of their central location, multiple counters and extended timings.
The service has been available since the signing of a cooperation agreement between ADDC and Emirates Post Group, as part of ADDC’s strategy to widen the channels of payment available to customers.
To use the service, customers should present bill or account number at the Post Office. In case of disconnection, customers can get water and electricity reconnection on the same day as soon as the due amount has been paid at the post office.
Chief Commercial Officer of EPG, Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, said: “Our facility of paying bills of Abu Dhabi Distribution Company is part of our overall strategy of enabling customers of different utility companies to pay their bills with ease at post offices. We are pleased that this service is popular with customers because of our central location and extended timings six days a week.”
Abu Dhabi Distribution Company’s move to allow payment of bills at post offices is a reflection of the company’s commitment to enabling customers to make payment with ease and without traveling long distances. Both sides have put in place elaborate technical, administrative and financial arrangements to ensure the service is smooth and quick.
