Dubai – September 14th, 2016 – Ixtel, the leading UAE digital services provider and PerformanceVision partner to deliver Network & Application Performance Monitoring Services.
PerformanceVision and ixtel® have closed an agreement to deliver Network and Application Performance Management (N/APM) services based on PerformanceVision solutions in the GCC region. This agreement permits ixtel® to extend the coverage of their infrastructure monitoring and management portfolio and it offers PerformanceVision a new channel to reach Gulf countries.
Mehdi Quraishi, Managing Director of ixtel®, explains why he made the decision to use PerformanceVision:
“Performance Vision represents a new generation of NPM/APM solutions: legacy NPM & APM solutions are often too complex, not flexible enough and not powerful enough to fulfill the requirements of our customers. PerformanceVision offers a platform which can address the challenge raised by next generation data centers (virtual, cloud and SDN) and the need of our customers to expand their visibility up to the application transaction layer. Finally it fits our requirements as a managed service provider.
We see an increasing demand for real time performance monitoring and troubleshooting: customers have limited resources and are under growing pressure to maintain a high standard of end user performance on their IT operations which is directly related to their core business. Their traditional troubleshooting tools (e.g. packet analyzers) and monitoring tools (SNMP based) are not sufficient to provide an instant view of the end-to-end IT performance and are not adapted any more to the newer generation of data centers (virtual, private clouds, etc.).
Many of our customers request to take another step and expect us to integrate solutions to perform performance troubleshooting and optimization in real time.
We analyzed the market and realized that few players have a consistent real time performance offering covering network, application and transaction performance in a unified way. Few of them cover new generation datacenters (Virtualization and private clouds) in a native and straight forward way. We identified PerformanceVision as one of the worldwide leaders in this domain.”
Boris Rogier, C.O.O. at PerformanceVision explains why ixtel® is a strong asset to increase PerformanceVision’s presence in the Middle East:
“Monitoring & Troubleshooting skills are rare on the market and ixtel® has a long standing reputation in this field for both enterprises and service providers.
A partner with such focus and experience is a perfect platform to deliver Network & Application Performance Monitoring services.”
With PerformanceVision’s unified solution, ixtel® provides a comprehensive tool set to their customers that want to reduce the Time to Resolve performance degradations, avoid degradations and optimize application delivery across IT teams.
PerformanceVision and ixtel® will take the opportunity of GITEX 2016 to demonstrate the service capabilities enabled by this agreement.
