Lucco Racing announces new team driver

Driver Sergey Shalunov joins Lucco Racing team for this Radical Middle East Cup 2016-2017 season.

Dubai, UAE, September 5, 2016:   Russian driver, Sergey Shalunov, will be joining the Gallic duo champions, Ludovic Loffreda and Romain Lutter. He will be under the structure of Lucco Racing Team. The strategic move of Shalunov came after several discussions with the team to upped their game in the upcoming Radical Middle East Cup 2016-2017 this October.

The 47-year old Shalunov has been racing between Dubai and Russia for 5 years now. Aside from Radical Middle East Cup, he participates in the Russian Circuit Racing Series as well.  His expertise and technical know-how is an added value for Lucco Racing team. 

Sergey Shalunov, supported by Lucco Racing Team, will be driving the second car under Arloid Automation sponsorship. 

Lucco Racing Team Founder, Ludovic Loffreda, said: “We have been racing with Sergey for some years now and we’ve seen his progress in the races. He possesses good qualities of a race driver. It is with our great pleasure to have him on board as we are aiming to improve and grow as a team.”

Lucco Racing Team have started training and planning their moves for the next season. The team will be participating in the Radical Middle East Cup 2016-2017 which is set to take place in Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, on the 28th and 29th October 2016.
