Dubai, UAE, August 24, 2016:   Ayah Al Bitar is proud to unveil her latest collection ‘The Masbaha’, a concept developed from the designer’s classic shape, The Wisada. Building upon aiding the acts of meditation and prayer, these strings of beads are elegantly made to resemble the provocative bicycle seat shape of Wisada, beautifully and rhythmically fitting together to form a contemporary design. With a true sense of exquisiteness and luxury, this newly launched product offers the ultimate traditional yet modern twist on Masbaha. Ayah Al Bitar’s products have seen tremendous success and astonishing growth throughout the GCC since her launch in May 2015. Marking one of the first expansions in the Ayah Al Bitar product line, these new designs are set to inspire and stimulate conversation across the region. 

‘The Masbaha’ is a unique and inspirational design that tells its own story through its variety of colours, design and shapes. The story of the Masbaha in general through time has come to represent not only a religious accessory, but a cultural one too. 
In terms of functionality, ‘The Masbaha’ is a string of beads that are used to keep counting track of tasbih in Islam. With different colours of strings, and hand-made ends to the Masbaha, each Masbaha has its own unique design, despite their equal functionalities. The Masbaha’s main story is to be able to merge traditions of our culture with the modernity of our current times.
