Brighton College to offer scholarships of up to 50% for the brightest candidates entering Year 9 and Sixth Form

Abu Dhabi, UAE, July 4, 2016: Brighton College Abu Dhabi, managed by Bloom Education, the specialist education division of Bloom Holding, is offering senior school academic scholarships to the brightest Year 9 and Sixth Form pupils in the region. It will entitle eligible pupils to receive up to 50% off of their tuition fees for the academic year, starting on 28 August, 2016.

Brighton College is very proud of the academic achievements of its pupils in its relatively short time in Abu Dhabi, celebrating the best GCSE results in the emirate in the last academic year. Building on that success, many of its Sixth Form pupils have already had a number of acceptances to prestigious universities in the UK, with an impressive 70% of UK bound Year 13 pupils holding at least one offer from a top tier Russell Group university and over 25% holding offers from UCL, Imperial or Cambridge University.
The success of UK university applicants has been reflected in its international applications as well: pupils have received unconditional offers to study at Utrecht, Purdue, Colorado Boulder and Florida Institute of Technology. To date, pupils have been offered places at 59 different institutions; applications have been sent as far afield as England, Scotland, Wales, the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and the Republic of Ireland.
The diverse range of university degree subjects amongst Brighton College applications is testament to its pupils’ many talents and aptitudes, which are fostered and supported by outstanding specialist teachers.
