Media Statement from Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Center - Abu Dhabi Plan

Abu Dhabi, UAE, June 16, 2016:  HE Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori: The Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC), is working within the operational framework of the ‘Abu Dhabi Plan to improve and enhance the quality of government services and strengthen accessibility by leveraging the use of information technology. 

HE Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of The Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC) stated: “As the government entity in charge of Abu Dhabi’s ICT agenda and operational framework, and functioning under the umbrella of the Intergovernmental Affairs Sector, ADSIC is keen to drive development and a culture of excellence to strengthen institutional performance, by adopting the required legislation and policies to keep up to speed with various economic and social developments.”

“The centre is working on implementing a number of key objectives that form an integral component of the Abu Dhabi Plan’s operational framework. One of these central objectives is to improve the quality of government services and strengthen accessibility by leveraging ICT in order to provide fast, efficient and high-readiness smart solutions, and drive community-government communication through various channels. Accordingly, we have intensified our efforts with our strategic partners to consolidate our vision to become a leading smart government, driven by innovation and inspired by society to effectively serve the people of Abu Dhabi, including citizens and residents.”

“Furthermore, we are focusing our efforts on improving the quality of government services in line with our message to deliver innovative digital services and channels, standards and policies, while building the foundation for an ICT-Mature society.”
