Commenting on the UAE participation, Acting CEO of Emirates Post Group Mr. Fahad Al Hosani, said: “It was a successful participation for Emirates Post as a large number of people viewed the stamps. Such exhibitions offer a unique opportunity to showcase the local culture through stamps. In addition, by taking part under the common umbrella of the GCC, we were able to convey the common cultural traits and highlight the similarities in heritage of the region.”
The UAE stand displayed a rich collection of stamps issued over the years, celebrating national and cultural events and several milestones.
Mr. Hosani praised the participation of different GCC countries showing stamps to mark cultural, historical and political milestones and national achievements.
