Post-Offices open from 9 am to 2 pm during Ramadan, but selected post-offices will remain open until 6 pm

Dubai, UAE, June 6, 2016: Emirates Post Group announced that the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan will be from 9 am to 2 pm; however, selected post-offices will observe extended working hours until 6 pm, from Saturday to Thursday, except Friday.
The extended working hours in selected post offices are in response to the needs of the public in this holy month and form part of EPG’s efforts to provide postal and non-postal services to customers for longer hours.
Among the post offices that will be open until 6pm in the 1st Postal Zone are: Abu Dhabi Central Post Office, Hamdan Post Office, Airport Post Office, Mussafah, Al Falah, Bani Yas, Tourist Club, Mussafah Shabiya, in addition to Al Ain Central Post Office and Al Ain Al Senaiya Post Office.
In Dubai, the extended timings will be observed in Dubai Central Post Office (Karama), Creek Post Office Deira, Deira Main Post Office, Satwa, Jumeirah and Al Rashidiya post offices, in addition to Hor Al Anz Post Office.
In the third postal region, the post offices that will be open until 6 pm are: Sharjah Central Post Office, Sharjah Corniche, Al Wahda, Al Khan, Al Ghuwair, Moyeleh, Sharjah Industrial post office; Ajman Central, Umm al-Quwain Central and UAQ industrial post office, Al Madam, Ajman industrial, Mushairef and Al Zahra.
In the fourth zone, these post offices will be Ras Al Khaimah Central, Al Nakeel, Al Oraibi Post Office; and in the sixth postal zone, Fujairah Central Post, Khor Fakkan post office and Dibba Al Fujairah.
As part of the EPG’s vision of creating a conducive work environment and stimulating creativity, the Group has introduced flexible working hours at the head office during the holy month of Ramadan. Under the flexible hours system, employees can choose the following options: 8 am to 1 pm; 9 am to 2 pm and 10 am to 3 pm, thus completing five continuous hours of work.
