ASUS unveils its first ever home robot Zenbo and a stunning portfolio of third-generation mobile devices at Computex 2016

Dubai, UAE, June 2, 2016: ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih took the stage at Computex 2016 to unveil Zenbo, the first ASUS robot, along with a stunning portfolio of third-generation mobile products designed to provide users with revolutionary functionality for pursuing their passions. The world-leading PC-gaming brand Republic of Gamers (ROG) also celebrated their 10th anniversary and showcased the latest line-up of ground-breaking and premium gaming innovations.
The ASUS Zenbo is a friendly and capable home robot designed to provide assistance, entertainment, and companionship to families. With a full range of capabilities, including the ability to move independently and understand spoken commands, Zenbo can assist at home and is easy and fun to interact with. The home robot has specific functionalities which include assisting senior family members with their health, spoken reminders of important information, monitoring and alerting about emergency situations and the ability to be controlled by users to move around the house. It is also equipped with educational games and interactive encyclopedia making it the perfect entertaining playmate for the kids. Additionally, with its wide variety of abilities such as making video calls, using social media, reading out recipes, connectivity to smart home and traditional devices, it is an ideal hands free household helper.

On display was also the cutting-edge launch of ZenFone 3 family which featured ZenFone 3 Deluxe with advanced camera technology taking mobile photography to the next level; ZenFone 3, a feature-packed smartphone with premium design and empowering performance and ZenFone 3 Ultra, an incredibly powerful smartphone with a 6.8-inch Full HD display that excels at entertainment.
The event also displayed ZenBook 3, an ultra-sleek and lightweight notebook with a premium aluminum design, and the signature spun-metal finish promising to deliver unprecedented performances; ASUS Transformer 3, ultra-slim and compact 2-in-1 PC providing users with the ultimate mobility, total convenience and amazing expandability, and ASUS Transformer 3 Pro, the world’s most versatile PC combining unrivalled performance with incredible portability to create the ultimate mobile device for work and play.
ASUS ROG also celebrated a decade of boundless invention and gaming domination by unveiling ROG G31 and ROG GX800, respectively the world’s most-powerful compact gaming desktop and gaming laptop.

The G31 edition 10 is a special ROG 10th-anniversary gaming desktop PC with a futuristic design featuring a compact, 20-liter chassis, one-click CPU overclocking, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU with 2-way SLI for the ultimate 4K UHD gaming experience. Whereas GX800 builds on the success of GX700 , the world's first liquid-cooled gaming laptop, to claim the crown of the world’s most-powerful gaming laptop and is engineered with the latest NVIDIA SLI GPU and Intel K-series CPUs for powerful desktop-like performance, with two 330W power supplies for uncompromising gaming experiences.
