New Cetaphil® Baby range sampled by thousands in domestic launch
Dubai, UAE, April 3, 2016: Cetaphil® Baby, the first baby product offering by Cetaphil®, the leading dermatologist-recommended brand of cleansers and moisturizers has arrived in the UAE.
The range of three products support and strengthens the skin’s natural development of baby’s delicate skin in its vulnerable early stages.
The shampoo, lotion and massage oil’s main ingredients include organic calendula, shea butter and sunflower oil, and use the combined power of science and nature to soothe, protect and nourish delicate baby skin.
“We believe that it’s never too early to start taking care of your skin, we proudly announcing the arrival of Cetaphil® Baby range, the new member of Cetaphil family.” Said Mohamed Atef, Business Unit Head, Self-Medication – Middle East, Galderma.
The range has been scientifically developed to cater for sensitive new born skin and work in harmony with the three main changes which happen during the first years of life; the epidermal barrier function strengthening, the surface pH stabilizing and the stratum corneum sustaining hydration.
“With Galderma making its official debut in Dubai, we’ve started the planned steps towards our vision of holistic healthcare and our long-term strategy, to enhance quality of life by delivering science-based solutions for the health of skin, hair and nails over the course of people’s lives. Focused on maintaining, enhancing and nourishing skin and treating and restoring skin to its healthy state, Galderma has an ambition to contribute responsibly towards the Middle East and African community along with developing medical education.” Said Hesham Abdallah, Regional Director – Middle East and Africa.
Grocery shoppers across the UAE have been the first to try the range - many of whom only popped to their local supermarkets for weekly essentials - have been among the first consumers in the GCC to sample exclusive Cetaphil® Baby products, a new range of innovative, dermatologically-tested products by Galderma, the dermatology operating company of Nestlé Skin Health.
As part of the domestic launch of Cetaphil® Baby, grocery shoppers at 21 Dubai and Abu Dhabi branches of Carrefour, Lulu Hypermarket, Géant and Union Co-operative Society were treated to exclusive samples of Cetaphil® Baby Daily Lotion and Cetaphil® Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo.
With more than 12,000 units of Cetaphil® Baby samples being distributed over consecutive weekends in March and April, shoppers at Carrefour in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai responded positively to the therapeutic baby products, which are paraben free, mineral oil free, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.
One shopper commented; “I came to the mall for my weekly grocery shopping and I’ve discovered an amazing new range of products for my baby that are natural, smooth and gentle on the skin,”
“The fact these products are only available at pharmacies adds more appeal – it gives me peace of mind knowing my baby is getting the best natural product on the market.”
Cetaphil Baby is available across the UAE now.
