La Grande Classique de Longines – When elegance is arrayed in colours
Last Update: Sunday, April 3, 2016 : 14:16 (+4GMT)
Dubai, UAE, April 3, 2016: La Grande Classique de Longines embodies the long-standing aesthetic tradition of the brand with the winged hourglass. The classic elegance of its very slim profile imparts upon it the status of a timeless collection. Today, Longines is offering new fineries to this emblematic line and enriching it with new colours.
Capturing the soul of Longines’ earliest design tradition, the collection La Grande Classique de Longines was presented for the first time in 1992. Since then, these timepieces have become the symbol of the brand’s classical elegance and adorn the wrists of those who know how to appreciate a valued asset.
Today, the Swiss watchmaking brand is adding even more refinement to this line, by proposing different dial and bracelet colour variations. Shades of pink, blue and white elevate these elegantly fabricated pieces designed to mark life’s finest hours...
Like all other models of the collection La Grande Classique de Longines, the charm of these new variations resides mainly in their very slim steel case: barely 4.20 mm and 4.45 mm for these quartz-movement watches. Available in two sizes – 24.00 and 29.00 mm in diameter – these creations display various finely worked mother-of-pearl dials, decorated with a star background offered in pink, blue or white. Diamonds can also enhance the dial’s delicate surface and the case’s gracious lines. Pink, blue or white alligator straps echo the soft colours of the dial and harmoniously complete the set. As for the steel bracelet, it wonderfully molds to the shape of the wrist thanks to the adaptability of its fine links.
These new timepieces preserve all of the characteristics of the creations that have made this iconic collection a global success and testify to the time-honoured know-how with which Longines embodies elegance today.
