Awards continue to roll in for Mazda's “Little Wonder”

All-New 2016 Mazda 2 Crowned “Best Compact Car of the Year 2016” 

Dubai, 21 March 2016:  Mazda, the leading Japanese car manufacturer, continues to claim major prestigious automotive awards both locally and globally with its all-new 2016 Mazda2. The latest award “Best Compact Car of the Year 2016” was received by Galadari Automobiles, sole distributor of Mazda cars in the UAE, at the seventh edition of the Wheels Car of the Years Awards event that took place at the Address Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

Powered by a Skyactiv-G in-line 4-cylinder DOHC engine, the all-new Mazda2 churns out a maximum power of 114 hp at 6000 rpm along with a peak torque of 148 Nm at 4000 rpm. Further, this engine is mated with a Skyactiv-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission along with electronic power assisted steering. Moreover, it is also assisted with electronically controlled direct injection fuel system that helps to achieve an impressive fuel economy. From engine to its styling, from handling to its safety, the car has surpassed each and every competitor in an effective manner and it seems like the competitors have to work really hard to give Mazda2 a tough competition.
