Chemours to Showcase Innovative Ti-Pure™ Solutions During 2016 Middle East Coatings Show

United Arab Emirates, March 14, 2016– Chemours International Operations SARL, a fully-independent, publicly traded company and the world’s largest producer of titanium dioxide, is participating in the Middle East Coatings Show being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 14 to 16, 2016, in Dubai, UAE. 

Chemours threw spotlight on its Ti-Pure™ brand of TiO2, a key component of some of the brightest and most efficient applications that include paints, plastics, laminates, and durable automotive and aerospace coatings. Within architectural coatings applications, Ti-Pure™ system solutions expand the limits of hiding power with fast and easy paint coverage. In industrial coatings, Ti-Pure™ products produce coatings with improved dispersion, minimum energy consumption, and excellent durability.

Aside from showcasing Ti-Pure™ products at the exhibition, Chemours International Operations SARL also showcased T-iPure™ OneCoat, enabled by TS6300 and Teflon™ co-branding opportunities. Ti-Pure™ OneCoat is a collaborative approach that combines unique technology, market insight, latest Ti-Pure™ development TS6300, and formulation expertise to expand the limits of paint hiding power beyond what was previously possible. Teflon™—the original fluoroproduct brand that has evolved from traditional ‘long-chain’ C8 chemistry towards more sustainable, ‘short-term’ C6 chemistry—is used in combination with Ti-Pure™ to develop stain repellent coatings.
