Al-Futtaim Motors showcases its extensive fleet of green cars at the 4th Ajman Environmental Conference

Dubai, UAE, February 27, 2016:   Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Toyota Material Handling Equipment in the UAE, announced their sponsorship of the 4th Ajman Environmental Conference, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, the Municipality and Planning Department and the Organizing Committee.

Taking place from 2nd to 3rd of March, 2016, the conference will focus on how the government, communities and businesses can implement innovative green practices for a sustainable future and comes on the heels of Ajman municipality’s latest decision to waiving parking fees for environment-friendly vehicles within the Emirate.

Similarly, in support of a more sustainable future in the UAE, Al-Futtaim Motors recently launched the 2016 Toyota Prius in the market, the world’s first mass-produced hybrid vehicle (petrol-electric) and one that has sold over 3.5 million units across over 80 countries across the globe. 
Packaged in a bold, compact and lightweight body, the Prius requires no external charging and delivers an enhanced fuel efficiency of 26.1 Km/L, in addition to a fun-to-drive experience.”

Al-Futtaim Motors will be displaying the recently launched Toyota Prius and Camry Hybrid in addition to the new Lexus RX450h, and GS 450h, beside two hybrid forklifts from Toyota Material Handling Equipment.

Scientists, experts, and decision makers will gather in this year’s conference to focus on shifting the paradigm on sustainability in order to showcase its value-adding framework in technology and business.
