High level delegation of British companies interact at Al Maya Supermarket

A high level British delegation comprising of food and beverages led by Northern Power House and Welsh from the United Kingdom, comprising around 45 companies from these regions  visited Al Maya Supermarket at Murooj Complex,  this was informed by Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director of Al Maya Group.

The delegation interacted one to one meeting with the buyers team of Al Maya Group and the delegation was impressed with the set up of Al Maya Supermarkets and appreciated the efforts taken by Al Maya Group in promoting British foods and bringing them to the UAE.   This is the first time the delegation’s visit has been organized jointly by British Centres for Business (BCB) and UK Trade and Investments (UKTI) only at Al Maya Supermarkets, informed Mr Kamal Vachani.

Al Maya Group has been importing food products from U.K. from a very long time and enjoys excellent relations with U.K. companies.  “ We at Al Maya are confident that with the efforts taken by BCB and UKTI the imports of foodstuff from United Kingdom is going to grow to a new heights ”  informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director of Al Maya Group.

Al Maya Group are exhibiting in Gulfood, the Region’s Premier Food and Beverage show – in  C6-20, Hall 6, added Mr Kamal Vachani.
