Infiniti of Arabian Automobiles Company Provides its Marketing Expertise to Students

Automotive division of AW Rostamani Group partners with The British University in Dubai
Dubai, UAE, February 2, 2016: Arabian Automobiles Company, the flagship automotive division of AW Rostamani Group and exclusive dealer for Infiniti in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, has partnered with UAE’s first research–based university, The British University in Dubai (BUiD) to offer real world marketing experience to a group of the university’s MBA students.
Designed to provide the students with an insight into the corporate sphere of marketing, the partnership enabled the participants to appraise the realities of the discipline of marketing outside the theories taught in the classroom. The activity also allowed the students to find out about Infiniti of Arabian Automobiles Company’s specific premium marketing strategies that have elevated the Infiniti brand across the region.
“It was a privilege to have partnered with BUiD for such an innovative project and we were extremely impressed with the presentations from all the groups of students involved. Arabian Automobiles Company has been a part of the UAE community since its inception in 1968 and it is honoured to be able to give back elements of its marketing expertise to BUiD’s MBA students, who are the future of the country’s marketing industry,” said Salah Yamout, Sales and Marketing Director, Arabian Automobiles Company.
Devised to be an educational activity, the Infiniti of Arabian Automobiles Company and BUiD initiative saw BUiD postgraduate students and the Infiniti of Arabian Automobiles Company team working on a prospective campaign based on an evaluation of the current market status of Infiniti of Arabian Automobiles Company’s Infiniti QX80 model. The MBA students were tasked with devising new plans to increase the luxury Flagship SUV’s sales, in the process ensuring that it stands out against its competitors in the same market segment. This involved researching facts about Infiniti’s operations, analyzing these in relation to industry conditions, and developing realistic solutions to increase the QX80’s market share.
