Dubai, UAE, 21 January 2016- MiX Telematics, a leading global provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with AdexAkademi, a reputable Turkey-based provider of advanced driver and road safety training. The collaboration will enable MiX Telematics to utilise AdexAkademi’s advanced training facilities in Turkey, while it also means both organisations will be able to extend their combined offering to new markets.
“Working with AdexAkademi means we can offer our clients the opportunity to participate in advanced driver training programmes in Turkey, in a world-class training facility,” says Brodie Von Berg, Head of Sales and Marketing for MiX Telematics (Middle East and Asia).
MiX Telematics’s driver training offering comprises specific driver development programmes including defensive driver training, heavy vehicle operations, four-wheel drive and recovery techniques, and “train-the-trainer” programmes.
With an overall goal to increase road safety, AdexAkademi aims to increase drivers’ knowledge by helping them to familiarise themselves with the latest vehicular technologies, while also training drivers on how to adjust their driving style to arrive safely at a planned destination and avoid hazardous situations. AdexAkademi’s offering include advanced driving techniques such as roll-over training and seat-belt simulators.
“Our partnership with a global player like MiX Telematics affirms our growing position within the driver training and road safety market,” says Ayhan Gökdemir, Director Road Safety at AdexAkademi. “We share MiX Telematics’s goal to deliver world-class training and driver safety solutions that exceed the expectations of global organisations in terms of what they require.
