Dhofar Global hosts Year-End Party to reinforce employee engagement & celebrate achievements of 2015

UAE, December 31, 2015– Dhofar Global, a leading supplier of hygiene care products in the Middle East, successfully held its annual Year-End Party recently at the Kempinski Hotel, Ajman. A highly engaging and entertaining event was designed to enhance employee engagement by strengthening ties between the management and the staff. Dr. Amer Al Rawas, Chairman of Dhofar Global; Faleh Al Abri, Group CEO; and Michael Anthony, CEO of Dhofar Global’s UAE operations, led the opening ceremony by congratulating every one for the company’s achievements in 2015 as well as motivating them to display similar vigor, commitment and dedication in the coming year. 

During the ceremony, Koshal Mundra, Group CFO, took the opportunity to congratulate all employees and commend them for their hard work that contributed to the Group’s 25 per cent growth this 2015 compared to the previous year. Chandan Singh, Group COO, for his part, thanked the organizing committee for the successful Year-End Party celebration.

The day-long Year-End Party attended by the staff from across the GCC region was composed of a series of activities, including games, dance performances, raffle draws, prize distributions, and speeches. Interactive and competitive games kept employees engaged during the morning session as they displayed team spirit, competitiveness, and enthusiasm to participate in and win them. The evening session was the highlight of the day where a series of dance presentations delighted the audience with dazzling performances. Both sessions ended with gastronomically delightful buffet, comprising international and local delicacies as well as a lavish spread of desserts.

It also offered our employees an opportunity to relax, entertain and de-stress with interesting games and performances before we gear up for the challenges of 2016. The day-long event was a perfect occasion to enhance interaction between the management and the staff in a leisurely and casual set up. In 2015, Dhofar Global partnered with Kleen Purgatis, a leading provider of premium products for cleaning, maintenance and care, and hygiene and disinfection, to launch a new range of chemical products. It has signed an agreement with QTS Italy, a leading manufacturer of soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers with an aim to offer innovative products and value-added services from the tissue dispenser segment to its customers. Dhofar Global also won the International Association of Practices’ Platinum Technology Award for Quality & Best Trade Name 2015 in recognition of its outstanding achievements in quality and business excellence.
